Hi all. Please share your wisdom by answering these 3 questions.

1. What size is the fuel line and what type/size fitting do i need to cap off the fuel pump?
2. What type and size are the fittings are on the end of the power steering hoses so i can cap them?
3. Where are the power trim position sender wires located?

Or do you guys have a cleaver trick for plugging this stuff up?

Thanks in advance.

It should have an anti-siphon valve on the tank, so just disconnect and catch the drippings in a rag

2. What type and size are the fittings are on the end of the power steering hoses so i can cap them?

Suck the oil out of the unit and then use rags. Finding caps will take some doing. You can also disconnect the return line and have a catch can ready to drain it in.

3. Where are the power trim position sender wires located?
.

Should be next to or on top the pump with push connectors. The hot lead comes direct from the starter. The trim sender wires are on the back of the motor which also use push connectors. Also look for ground wires going from the rear of the block to the transom assembly

or, shove a 3/8 bolt in the fuel line

or unbolt the power steering pump from the motor and zip tie off to the side on many motors you can simply pull the pump out of the way.

Ayuh,.... It should be a 3/8" rubber line from the tank to the fuel pump, as noted above, stuff a 3/8" bolt into it,....

If ya disconnect the P/S lines from the actuator, 'n just drape 'em up over the motor,..
The spillage shouldn't be any more than what ya wipe up with a rag,....

The trim sender, 'n trim limit wires come through the transom, 'bout center, just above the drive shaft, 'n should have quik-connectors,....
