Gents,

hope everyone is have a great season. i was just about ready to get ready to take my tub down to the lake, and went to start it in the drive way...

Well i hear the solenoid clicking (back on the engine) when i turn the key, but that is all that is happening.

That being the case, looking for pointers on where to start to trouble shoot it..

Key turned to on. One click from the solenoid, then silence. Any thoughts.

Ayuh,... Remove, sand, clean, reinstall, 'n grease, ALL the wiring connections between the battery, the starter solenoid, the pony solenoid, 'n the Block...

If that don't Fix it,...
Grab yer test light, 'n see where ya got Power, 'n where ya Ain't...

Don S. Thank so much, the link provided all the details necessary to work from the switch back to the engine. Upon inspection of the solenoid on the starter, there was wire (yellow / red) that had come off the b post. As soon as i reattached she purred like a kitten.

Thanks again, now to get it buttoned up and dunked in the water.
