3.0 oil pump disable

can i leave pump in motor,,took out tank,unpluged elec wires,cut small supply hose pluged, premix now.

You can leave pump on but remove the pump shaft that drives pump as it could bind up if pump should lock up. You can also use a Yamaha jet ski oil pump block off plate if you want to discard the pump also...
