3.0 OMC cooling system flushing

ged the impeller and thermostat, and reassembled it, want to flush out the system, have followed the seloc manual there, but as i read some posts and have been told, that is good for a fire starter, is there something I am missing or should be doing differently.

Get the factory manual. Seloc and Haynes are just for people who don't know any better.

i will order a factory manual later but is there a different or better way of doing the flush
