3.0 pertronix change over?

Hi all, installed pertronix elec ignition, and 3.0 flame thrower coil, "purple " resister wire disconnected, started right up, have to time it next..its a 87' 3.0 gm 181. Whats time setting on that engine? 2 bdc? Anything else im missing? Just time it?.. no more points for me... thanks for input.

I don't recall for sure but I think it is 6 BTDC. It should say on the valve cover label. I converted my 2.5l the same way and the timing didn't change.
