Looking for advice. Going to be removing my 3.0l. Do you have to remove the outdrive to do this? Can I just make sure not to adjust the front engine mount then I can just fit it back without doing the alignment or is it just not worth it?

No

The Outdrive must come off. While there is a possibility the motor can be removed without damaging the coupler or other items, the engine must have the alignment checked on reinstall.

Why would you do it that way? The drive takes 15 minutes to remove. You should have an alignment bar and check it every 2 years if you want to do your own work.
