3.0l merc first oil change

Ok so this may be a dumb question. I just bought a 97 sea ray boat with the 3.0l I/O in it. the owner did not have the owners manuals for it and always had it serviced at a shop. MY question is what all oils need changed? what weight oils should I be running, and what filters should i get. I have never owned a boat like this so its all new to me. also what should my max rpm be so that I dont burn up the engine the first trip. I believe the owner said he was running a 18p prop. Also is there anything else I should be looking at or fluids that need changed to get the boat ready for summer. thanks

The maintenance manual for the engine will do wonders for you as it will have that sort of information about oil changed intervals, etc.

It will also specify the WOT RPM range, so you can get an idea about the prop. Do you really think you will burn up the engine?
