New to this boat and am a new boat owner and am learning fast! 1987 Dynasty 17' has been sitting idle for two years!! Carb rebuilt two years ago. Got boat started and ran very good after two years under No load. Replaced oil,oil filter,plugs,fuel pump filter and checked carb filter to be very surprised how clean it was. Wires looked good and no leaks after securing hose clamps. Engine starts ok seams to lack power and hard to get up to speed with out working the throttle. I have ran three full tanks of fuel through the system so i hope water is no longer an issue. Once on plane cannot go to WOT with out sputtering, have to bring throttle back and engine runs fine. Can only get about 3500 RPM with me in the boat and 3000 RPM with a couple of other people. Cannot go full throttle to get the boat moving and up on plane always have to work the trim and ease throttle gradualy. Need suggestions?? Still fuel problem, vent system, out drive?? Thanks.
