Howdy, M1rodrig.

I think you have a 1992 Johnson 3hp.

H= I dunno :confused:
J= Johnson.
3= 3hp.
R= rope start.
EN= 92, from the code using "introduces" for 1234567890
R= production run.

Good luck. :)

Welcome, mlrodrig.

H = Hongkong

(CLIP)

EDIT: Got the rest from JB, oh, except this:

The correct fuel/oil ratio would be 50:1 87 octane to TCW-III outboard oil.

Good luck!

Re: 3.3 HP OMC

Well I tried to start it and had no luck the only way it would start was to pour gas down the carburator & then it would only start for 1 1/2 second. I took the carburator off.The float chamber was full of junk so i cleaned it out the best i could & closed it back up when i opened the fuel it started right up but then flooded. The gas kept flowing from the inlet. I reopened it & I must have lost the needle that shuts off flow from fuel inlet when i took it apart.I got a manual but it is a 93 manual.Ordered the carb kit & just got it i will build it this weekend. Manual says 1100 to 1300 RPM. How do iknow what RPM i am at , do I need a gauge? How do i set the idle if i dont have a gauge. Thanks for the help with the year and make I would have never figured it out.
