1966 made by Clinton. 16/1 fuel/oil mix. I'd use 2 cycle oil made for air-cooled motors. Just stick to 16/1 no matter what it says on the oil container!

If it has a waterpump it MUST work or you'll burn it up. If it only has a 5/16" tube facing forward from the exhaust outlet then forward motion of the boat and water from the prop is the means of forcing water to the lower bearing/seal area. I've seen MANY of those stopped up by insect nests. Check it to see if it's clear.

It'll probably need a complete fuel system cleaning to run right. 'Fuel system' includes EVERYTHING between the gascap vent and the reedblock!
Points accumulate an invisible film over time that inhibits good transfer of energy. Would be a good idea to clean them even tho you have spark. Might be weak under compression. Should jump at least a 1/4" air gap with a loud pop and a blue-white appearance to work well under compression.

There's hundreds of threads here on reviving old motors that have simply sat a long time. You would be wise to review some of them. Tom
