3.7 140hp mercruiser

The 140 and 470 are different engines. The 470 has a closed radiator system (like a car) and the 140 is cooled with lake water. There are several known issues with the 470, but once addressed it can be a good engine. However, I like the simpler 140 myself.

Sell the 470 as Parts on ebay,+ put the Money into the 140hp,......
It's the 181cid, 3.0l GM motor..........

It's a Good little motor,+ there are Millions of them.........

The 470 was a Failed Experiment that was only produced for a few years,........
Now,..... the Parts are worth More than the Motor........
