3.7 carb issue

cnt really go slow for long she starts spudering and shutting off....so do i smell a carb rebuild or what.o yea with the boat off and the breather off i see fuel driping .maybie my pin is stuck and alowing fuel to dump at low idel and flooding the engin .....i need ur thoughts my carb plate says mcm 165 .....1389-9564...and after running awile and shuting off at low speed it gets harder and harder to start it will fire and idle great but try to give it throtle and it dies and i some times get back fire while trying to start

My freshly rebuilt 3.7 started very hard, did not idle smoothly, and hesitated (sometimes stalling) when accelerating from a stop. All these issues were fixed after I rebuilt the carb. Thats where I would start if I were you. The Merc carb kit is reasonably priced. Well worth the time, effort and money to get your boat running correctly.
