I think the best way to punish oneself would be to "marry" a Merc 3.7 to an OMC Cobra drive

try to convince everyone that this combination would have saved OMC.

Since we're simply trying to scare the carp out of ourselves how about a 3.7 Stringer We could name the boat Frankenstein.
