3 Bank Onboard Charger HELP!

Hello Everyone!

I would like to purchase a 3 bank charger for my old bass boat, what do you recommend.

I am not a tournament fisherman, & thus do not need something with high amps for quick turn around. I have heard that the best way to charge deep cycle batteries are on a slow charger 2-8 amp charge. Is that correct? What brand and what type of chargers to all of you recommend?

Something with 5A per bank should do you fine. I recommend one that gives a status disply for each battery. I have Guest chargers and never had a failure.

Get a wired-in, waterproof charger with LED display.
You might want to consider adding a 120V input plug for easy re-charging.
For my cruiser, I use a 3 bank ProMariner ProSport 20 Plus.

I have only two bank models, both made by Guest. One is a Sportsman 10A/5A, the other is 5A/5A, but has a "combined" display.

Minn Kota 315D or 330D. I have the two bank version (motor charges the starting batt) this was the best investment I have made so far for my boat.
