Have a 50 mercury 80ish year 4 cylinder motor that i got worked on by a dealership. They rebuild both carbs for $ 250 and broke stator wire in process and put a new stator on for $ 450 more. The boat didnt run good before i let them work on it and dosent want to idle well, start well, or stay running except when i can get it running wide open. Drinks to much gas too. My guestion is, i looked at the motor and they put a 3 cylinder stator on. Will that cause problems being its a 4 cylinder
