3 HP Evinrude rod bolts

Hi again, now i have all my parts for my 1957 3 HP Evinrude # 3022 and have the pistons installed i see i have a broken tab on one #46 "Connecting rod screw lockplate". Not sure i should torque it down with Loctite 243 or other thread locker or try to find replacement screw lockplate. Or 4. Seems to be such a small thing but want to get it right. I seem to have trouble finding them, Options ?

Lock plate should be available at any BRP / Johnson / Evinrude repair shop.---Not cheap.----Could make your own with a hammer and chisel I suppose..

There is a member on here, and on aomci site, 1946Zephyr, that makes the lock tabs. They are of very high quality, and very reasonable. I recommend them. Send him a PM
