Howdy, I had a Johnson 3 hp given to me as part of another deal.
Model J3RETB.......# B 08997667
It started fairly easily with new gas. (It had been drained)
But does not idle real smooth. And occasionaly dies. Do you think that it needs carb work? I polished the flywheel contacts while it was running, only a bit of surface rust.
Can someone identify the year and approx value?
