3 L with sx volvo drive

I am wondering what oil everyone use and how much oil is in the motor and drive, have drained water and want to change oil and wondering what veveryone uses.

If you drained water, I would suggest you drain the drive and find the leak and repair it. Probably water in the bellows or the propshaft seal.
Any GL-5 Synthentic gear lube will work fine in the SX, the Mercruiser Hi Performance is another excellent choice. it's also a GL5 Synthetic gear lube. It also doesn't seperate water from gear lube after setting. Unlike the Volvo gear lube.

How much oil do I put in the motor and drive?

Go to the link below, and download an owners manual for your specific engine. Use either the FULL model number, or the Volvo SN.
Has all that information.
