If yours is original its a 3 jaw as the 6 jaw came out in 1998. You can tell 2 ways: (1) All OEm units taht are 6 jaw will have a 45? line machined just foward of the trim tab bolt (2) measure shift arm center to center.a 3 jaw will be 6 1/4 and straight and a 6 jaw will will have a hook in one end and measure 6 5/16. I always use the #2 method as the aftermarket replacement unit do have the machined line.
