I cant find a 3 pin anchor light. What are the 3 pins for? Going the lake tomorrow morning to stay the night.

Re: 3 pin anchor light

I think the 3 pin connector is for the bow (front) light and has one for starboard, one for port, and one for a shared ground return. It has a red and a green bulb. This is for when the boat is under way only. (Note: there are some forward lights that use one bulb to light both sides through a red lens on one side and a green lens on the other side.)

The anchor light has only 2 pins, goes at the rear of the boat and is white (actually, this one is on when at anchor and when under way.)
