3 Shut off valves (butterflies) broke off 06 Suzuki DF175... Can run without????

I have a '06 Suzuki DF175 with about 2000 hours on it... noticed spark plug bent when having engine troubles, found out that 3 of my Shut off valves (i call em butterflies) broke off intake manifold and got in to valve chamber to cause bent plug.
My question is can i run my motor without these, i am under the impresssion they are for variable air flow for high/low rpm.
The reason why i ask is that they are not a replaceable part i would have to get a whole new intake manifold assembly..
