Well my wife and I are working on 30 years of marriage I am not very conventional so I have decide to give her 30 gifts for the soon to be 30 years that she has put up with me.There will be one very nice gift all the rest will most likely be something we can all have a good chuckle over :D I already gave her a small picture that an artist friend gave me and 2 aloe plants ( she actually like the aloe plants) so chime in 28 more to go.:D:D

30's a lot, but after 30 years I'm sure she's more than worth it.

I would suggest one of them being something she wouldn't expect. Something she would never expect YOU to do. Whether it be dancing, theatre, or just a card that you wrote about what makes her special and why she means so much to you.

Re: 30 gifts for 30 years

How about a 30 foot boat? 1 foot for each year. ;)

Or......., if you insist on being romantic and mushy, setting the bar way to high for the rest of us, maybe sign up for some dance lessons for the 2 of you. Ball room dancing is pretty big now due to the show Dancing With the Stars.

Serve her breakfast in bed, a box of chocolates, breast implants, oh wait, guess that would be more for you huh? :D

How about a touched-up photo from your wedding day in a new frame.

Or the newborn picture of you daughter (other kids if you have them), in a new frame.

Or a recent picture of your kid(s) and family(s).

Small bouquet of supermarket or gas station flowers. (they last forever & are cheap)

Dinner at one of the restauants that you used to go to when you were dating, or one that you celebrated an anniversary at.

Just a plain "skeleton key" wrapped with a note that says "You hold the key to my heart."

And one that I stole from a friend a few years ago,... buy bag of Hersey's Kisses and a bag of Hersey's Hugs and remove the little white pieces of paper that say Kisses & Huggs. Put all of the K&H papers in a small box and wrap them. You know have box full of hugs and kisses, or whenever she would like a hug or a kiss she just needs to present you one of the slips.

Hope these help.

Manicure is a great idea. I regularly give my wife (birthday, Christmas, etc) a gift certificate to the local manicure shop. It's as good for her as browsing a gun shop is for me.

Sadly I had lost my first wife just shy of our 29th. Congratulations on your 30th!! For our 20th I put together a story book of what highlighted review the first 20 years..... I did this and for every date in the story I purchased a pick 3 or pick 4 lottery ticket to represent that date. I included the birth of our son, our wedding date and dates of significant events...... I can tell you my wife liked it.

Re: 30 gifts for 30 years

Women love candles (scented). There is a place online, I will have to find the site, but they have a palm tree candle thing, it is a wrought-iron base, with brown thread wrapped around to appear as a trunk. At the top, there are about five separate palm fronds (sp?), as well as six tea-light candle holders. It stands about 24" tall, but I got one for my fiancee, and she loves it, uses it every night. I just should have factored in the cost of those stupid candles first. . . I know for sure they sell them in a tourist store in Orlando, I believe it is called Shell World. You may be able to look them up on the internet, they have GREAT nautical gifts.

Movies, a live show, comedy club, murder mystery dinner, Tina and Tony's wedding (audience participation) was one that Mrs Ken and myself had a blast at.
