30 HP evinrude water pump

Getting ready to replace the water pump in my 1996 30 hp evinrude E30TEEDE. I'll get the water pump kit. Doesn't look like the complete water pump is available, or is it? At present no leeks in the lower unit. My question is, I guess there is a gasket between the gear case & the lower unit housing? Will I also need a gear case gasket kit? Is that big gasket included in the gasket kit?

There is no gear case gasket. Go with a OEM water pump kit and you will have everything you need, and they are still available. Check with your local dealer. Also, boats dot net has reasonable prices for OEM parts. Good luck.

edit: iboats carries a water pump kit for your motor as well...
