30 HP Johnson Year?

Hey,

I recently bought a used boat/motor/trailer, and the motor is a 30HP Jonhson. I am curious as to what year it is. The fellow I bought it from said it was either an 1989 or a 1990. The Model Number is: CJ30RC0A
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Does that mean it's specifically a 1980? Or does it mean anywhere from 1980 to 1989?

I show it as a 1985. C=8 O=5. Anyone see it differently?
