300 GT Johnson outboard

I am looking for a 300 GT in any condition, and will consider rebuildables also. Currently I own a 1985 150 HP Johnson and would like to find a twin to it. I don't know what ever became of the 300 GT's but I am having a real hard time locating anybody that knows anything about them. Any replies are greatly apreciated!

Call Jack at Superior Marine (800-338-9281) or Steve at Creek Marine (941-365-6919) to locate both motors. Contrary to popular belief the V-8's are good motors. Don't bog them down, set them up to run near or at the rev limiter (6200 or 6700 RPM)and they will be fine. Remember -- the 20" v-8 is actually 23" and the 25" is actually 28". It's all in the set up.
