I am looking at a 1981 Carver 3007. I was wondering if anyone can tell me to what degree the deadrise is on this vessel. Also, can anyone tell me how this boat handles in the chop? I am on Lake Erie and the boat has been hauled out for the season. I would like to grab it now, but want to learn a little more about the handling of the vessel before putting in the expense of putting it in the water to take it right back out.
Also, I am new to the bridge (have only operated express cruisers). What can you tell me about the increased surface area and drastic center of gravity change?
