300SE Engine removal

I have a 2000 300SE and due to previous owner's neglect, at least one of the engines needs to be removed. They are mounted so far back in the engine room relative to the hatch opening that you can not attach to pull up from the center of the engine. Has anyone done this and did it take a special lift or tool? Also, are there any active Doral dealers in Michigan?

Seen the question unanswered for a bit, tough I'd suggest possibly an "L" bracket attachment to picker to get under enough.
Never had an issue pulling engines from my 25SE OR 31 Intrigue, straight up.

We have a 1999 300SE and it looks to me like the GENSET could be pulled then then engine could be worked out. Not easy, but shouldn't be tough for the yard to do.
