i have a 35 evinrude that came on a boat i bought got it running but it was rough i noticed some play in the flywheel so i started traring it down and found a broke crankshaft whats the best thing to do repair it part it out whats it worth 88 model

figure up the cost of the parts, your time. what you have in it. and what it will cost to replace it. 88 is just a teenager.

Cheaper to replace it.

agree clean up the parts, there is a good market for them on ebay.

How can an engine run with a broken crankshaft? Are you sure the key just didn't shear?
