35 hp on a Princecraft yukon

I have a Prince craft yukon 15 2003 the max load hp is 25 hp but i want to put my 35 hp what do i have to do?Do i have to reinforce the trensom ?Thank you..

Don't. your boat is rated for a 25 for a reason, that is the max hp, it can be safely operated at. many more reasons than the transom strength.

Max rated HP is max rated HP and that is all there is to it. Exceeding it is potentially dangerous and will nullify your insurance.
If you are looking for a justification to do it then I don't think you will find it here.

Hey glad to here from you sir.Especially with you Mr.Tashasdaddy with all the answers and the patience you gave me since i'm on this site.I have fix a 25 hp evinrude 1972 with you and started it my father was amazed at the work i did with that motor.Thank you again and i'm always open to your good sugestion sir.. Tony, If I came on a little strong with my response I apologise. There have been many, many threads here that ask the same or similar question about overpowering their boat. When they get the response that it is not a good idea and they should not do it they don't like what they hear and try to argue that it is O.K. to do.
This is clearly not the case with you. Glad you are enjoying the site and learning what you need to.
