problem is motor cuts out dead in the water after running about 1 hour or so.
It has fuel in the carbies so we are satisfied the problem is not fuel related.
Motor starts again straight away, motor has been dismanteled there is no evidence of overheating the bores are pefect.
We beleve the problem is a heatsoak problem or either the powerpac or optical sensor.
Has ne1 had this problem and fixed it?
cheers
please email me at donohoeo@spin.net.au
Thanks

Jack

See if you can simulate a heat related failure by using a hair drier pointed close at the suspect part(Power Pack, Ect.). Do this while running on muffs or tank at home.

If it starts immediatly after dying, then I would suspect it's not an overheat problem in the electronics. They would not have had time to cool off. Check the condition of the plugs when it dies and see if they are wet or dry. That should narrow it down to lack of fuel or an electrical failure in which case they would still be wet with unburned fuel.

Whats the model number? What grade fuel? What spark plugs? Your location?

Are you running on a built in tank or a portable tank?
