Motor will not turn over with the spark plugs in. charge the battery all night and even went direct to the starter with 12v and it will still will hardly turn the motor over. Just had a new armetuer put in. Any other suggestion please help.

who ever did the armature..take it to them...I bet one of the brush leads sre broke..or the insulation chaffed.....or he forgot the top thrust washer...

did it work after the rebuild...

you cleaned all the cables right..but you also jumped it direct and slow turning...

one the thing a few don't realize...when putting the cable on the stud...you have to be careful the stud does not turn...or you **** one end up inside and the brush cable can break or come in contact with the cummutator and chaff off

Do a voltage drop test on all the cables and connections.
