had my 75 lund 85 hp evinrude out today after adjusting trim it planed great 15 mph pushed onward at wot hit and held 36 mph by a gps really felt like i was moveing is this about right for it its a tri hull

Sounds about right. I get about 38 from my MFG trihull, same motor.

I'm about 300# and i used to ski behind it (till i got older). a rope bridle is a big help. You should have no problems.
