i have a johnson 175 and am running a 3blade ss 25p running 63 mph gps at 5000 rpm wots.
i tried out a 3blade ss 22p raker it ran 62 gps at 5450 rpm. am thinking of buying
a 21p 4blade . is SOLAS a good prop?

It appears you have two questions in one. Is Solas a good prop? -- Sure! It's inexpensive in comparison to others. Is it the best prop for your application? Who knows! The reason for that comment is you haven't told us "why" you want a four-blade prop. Have you played with setup? What do you want the four blade to do for you?

i am in a 18ft procraft bass boat.i am wanting to be able to pull a ski tube, but not give up alot on top end . i'll give a little on speed to gain better low end.

Solas makes lots of props -- are you talking aluminum or stainless? At any rate, hang around -- Walleyehed will be along and offer his thoughts. He's tested ore props than most folks have ever seen. In the mean time, go to the top of this forum and read his "prop test results". That will give you some insight as to what the differences are between brands, styles, and pitches. It's not just about pitch and stainless or aluminum.
