4.3 GL popping on throttle advance.

Almost made it thru the season without any issues..I have a 2002 Regal w/ twin 4.3's..Took it out the other day and bringing it up on plane the right engine started "popping" for a few seconds. I backed off and tried again same thing..Once it got up on plane the engine seemed to run fine. Reluctant to take it out until fixed. I replaced the cap and rotor same thing. Almost seems like a timing issue but I would think once that is set it should be good. Any ideas??

Sounds like your due for some carb work. Accelerator pump circuit possibly.
