4.3 Rebuild

In the process of gathering parts for a 4.3 i will be using a non balance shaft short block with vortec heads and a edelbrock intake need cam help i have the original roller cam from the marine engine i would like to take all of this to the max without stepping on my toes is there a better cam out there? Thanks in advance great website!

Depending on the amount of money you are expecting to spend you may have some options.

For $3000 you can get a 260hp 4.3 from www.blueprintengines.com
I did and this engine has great power, I just can't comment on how long they will last.
They should be good long term engines, because the only performance enhancement is they balance the engine and require premium fuel.

it is worth looking into.

call the company like comp cams tell them every thing you have know your compression ratio and your boat weight and the max rpm u want and they will tell u the best to use and will be way better than stock
