I went and looked at a donor boat that I was hoping to do a transplant from last night. I'd like to see if I can get some other thoughts on a few things.
1) I was expecting to get/see water coming out from the exhaust bellows as it was broken, otherwise I would think it would be flowing out of the prop correct? I asked if it ran hot when, it was out... Owner said nope... I have got to think that the impeller is shot to say the least?
2) I'm never gonna go looking at a boat with out my mag light again!!! It prolly saved me from picking up something with a cracked block. Possibly only external but still.. oil looked fine... Just more risk than I'm willing to do...
Anyways, I'm starting to get more comfortable around these boat things....Or I hope... !!! Depending on what i hear from you all gurus.
