So, I know that in the Automotive world AC Delco is the best thing to run in a GM product, second best being NGK - either of which are all that I run in my truck, or any other GM product I've ever owned.
However, I know that the marine world and the auto world rarely cross paths when parts interchanging is concerned. That said, I'm looking for advice on the absolute best spark plugs for my 4.3. It's a '97 LX 2bbl Vortec. I had the Champion plug number for my old outboard forever etched in my memory (QL78YC), but the inboard is a different animal.
I'm also planning on changing Cap, Rotor, Maybe wires...
also, is there any advantage to going with a hotter coil? (ie Accel/ Mallory etc.?) or is that a no-no in a marine environment?
Thanks for the help.
