hello im trying to find out a bit more about my 4.5 evinrude its model number e5bacss serial b006756 and is it long or short shaft ? and what the plug on side is for and year thanks

1980. Short shaft. AC lighting. That's what the plug is for--it will power lights. Made in Belgium
