4 cylinder 50HP, no top end... Fuel pump??

Hey all-
I have a mid 70's 4 cylinder 50 hp Mercury. I'm not exactly sure what year it is because the power head was swapped at some point, the serial number below the tiller shows it to be a '74. I've got the motor idling reliably, but it will only run at top end if I pump the bulb. I'm thinking maybe fuel pump? Anything else I should check? I didn't see any adjustment for float level when I rebuilt the carbs. Not sure if it matters, but I'm running a jet pump.

Float level is adjustable. Start by rebuilding fuel pump and cleaning all fuel filters. If that gets it, good for you.

If not you probably need to rebuild the carbs.

The carbs were rebuilt, I cleaned them and put in new gaskets and needles. Where can I find the information for proper float level?

Proper float level and adjustment procedure is in the service manual.
