Woo Hoo I just got a aircooled motor on ebay it's a 4 hp Sears/Ted Williams Outboard Motor 1968 Model/serial 574-59840. Think will will work great to run me up and down the river. Guy said he put a shot of fuel in it and it fired right up but might need a carb/cleaning adjustment. which I'd like to do anyway so I'm not stranded. Anyone know where I can get info i.e. fuel/oil ratio, manual, or any other info I may need. Thanks, Tony

Hi MrT. That model number doesn't work, but there should be a "Chassis" number on the transom bracket that you need to get. Plug that number into the search field here>> www3.sears.com

You'll find parts diagrams and order forms for parts. I believe that motor is 50:1 with 2 stroke oil for air cooled engines, but somebody better verify that for you first. Good luck.

That is a McCulloch built motor. 68/69 Fuel mix is 48:1.Originally 100:1 but was changed early on.McCulloch has been out of business for some 40 years.
You could try the scott guy at ask the scott guy.He may have info on parts
etc.
