4 or 3 blade question for a given speed

I have a 85 Bayliner 1600 with a 85hp Force engine and 13x19 Michigan three blade propeller.

I only use the boat for fishing, usually cruise at 25mph to save gas which is around 4000 rpm.

Is there a better prop to use for this type of operation? I have no interest in going 43mph (but I can) and I don't need a hole shot.

Thanks in advance,

John

John if you will give me your RPM and speed from 3,000 RPM to WOT in 500 RPM increments I will be glad to run a prop slip analysis for you and tell you how that prop is performing on you boat so you will have a basis for an informed decision.

Thanks for the offer.

I currently have the engine apart as I am rebuilding the carbs and fuel pump. Parts are taking their time to get here. Next time I am out I will record the numbers and give you a jingle.
