4 pontoons instead of just 2

I wonder what that would do to the top speed,anyone ever do that?

I don't know, but it seems like 4 tubes gets to the point where you may as well go with a conventional hull.

I'm guessing that there would be some propulsion issues. With four toons, there is little space for water to get to the motor and what is available would be very turbulent.

4 tubes would have twice the drag so i would say if you could do it you would lose a fair amount of top end.

And I agree that it would create a space issue, but it depends what you wanted to do with the boat, if it was a putter like in the picture it would be fine, if you wantedd to go 50 mph probably not.
