4-stroke engine oil

I have a Johnson/Suzuki 140 4-stroke. What engine oil do you recommend? The manual recommends their Johnson synthetic blend but for about a buck more per quart I could run Mobil 1. I like and use good quality lubricants in all my other engines and will most definitely use good stuff in my boat motor. Just don't want to pay "Johnson" what they think their oil is worth.<br />JD

I'm not an expert, and I'm surely not correct alot of the time, BUT I don't think you can go wrong with Mobil 1! Be sure to use the recommended Wt.

I use Mobil 1 in my Suzuki DF70.
