Tried the search engine, not finding the info I'm looking for.
Thinking of buying one,besides the general over looks,paint flaking,compression checks,lower unit oil...etc.
Is there any other 4 stroke things I should be looking for?...this would be my first 4 stroke outboard.
Is there any problems that are known with this year/brand outboard?
Something to keep an eye on,carbs,computer...?
$1500 is the asking price...not a steal but seems fair.

I'd for sure take it out on the water for a sea trial, starting, idling, mid-range, wide open throttle. It'll tell you a lot about the motor. Good Luck!

I believe I have read that the carbs plug up easily, but that all depends on how often you run it and the fuel you use. Any motor does not like to set up for months at a time
