40 hp Classic (4cyl) 1990 tilt/ problem trim

Anybody have any ideas to why my tilt raised 2 inches and quit, now it just clicks. I manually raised the unit and checked the fluid and its full. I tried the switch on the side of the motor as well as the lever and they both are working because I can see the battery draw down on the gauge. The motor starts and the solenoid seems fine the 20 amp breaker fuse is okay too. Any ideas FRUSTRATED, need this boat operative ASAP---thanks !!!

I am not familiar with the "classic" brand.<br /><br />Suspect a failed or stuck valve in your system. <br /><br />Good luck.

Hey JB are you saying the hydralic valve is stuck ??? I did let the unit down manually by unscrewing the screw at the bottom and it slowly went down--but did not try wrenching it up/down a few times to see if any air/dirt in it--any help let me know--thanks.
