Mariner 1980 electric start, two cylinder, long shaft one coil. 40 hp built by yamaha.
Fresh water usage only. Starts awesome idles goes like stink full throttle. But there is a point around half speed that it starts to machine gun stutter. I have driven it 5 miles like this, no change. Anyone have this problem? Can anyone suggest something?
