402 Trigger Question?

My book don't go that small. I'm ooking at a late seventies 40hp twin (known as the 402).<br /> <br />Trigger only has 2 wires coming down - it think white and brown. What kind of ohm reading ought I be getting across them? I'm getting NOTHING, so I'm pretty sure it's DOA. But I'm just asking anyway?<br /><br />-W

750 to 1400 ohm or 4+volts on a DVA
