40HP Magnum Mariner

I have a 40HP Magnum Mariner but I can't find this listed in any service manuals. It is a 1989 engine but the manuals I have checked refer only to a 40A or 40B model, no 40 Magnum. Does anyone have any idea which model I have? It is a 4 cylinder engine. Is it a 2 or 4 stroke?

The serial number is 0C168419.<br />Mariner is a branch of Mercury so do I have to call Merc with questions or does someone have a website or phone number for Mariner? Thanks a lot!!

That engine is a 1989 ELPTO 40HP 2 stroke. Service Manual part #814676R1. Same as a Mercury.
