I got a Mariner 40hp cyl 2stroke with a magneto style with points ignition. I am sure that the serial number is 676S100246. Now I found stamped on 2 places on the block 67600 and thats it. I know the motor was made by yamaha but I still need to knwo the year of this motor to get correct parts. I am just about to go bald trying to figure this one out. One more question will the coils off a 15hp Mariner (also made by yamaha) with the same style ignition work on my motor. PLEASE HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!
