in my omc manual it lists the red line RPM's at 4200-4600 for all models of 4 6 & 8 cyls.<br /><br />i thought red line was red line. why the spread of 400 RPM?
Thats not a red line but an opperating RPM.If your engine runs below 4200 at wot then your prop is to big.If over 4600 prop is to small.(assuming everything else is working properly)
